recently completed the IDC and IE, successfully upgrading from
Divemaster and AI respectively to OWSI.
Congratulations Keith! Steve a Long Time Instructor (his
Instructor Number is only 5 Digits) and Bruce we look
forward to having you as staff instructors here at Abyss-Scuba!
In the News
We've recently been approved Divers Alert Network (DAN) to offer
several new diving specialties! Our IDC Staff Instructor,
Jim Bartlett, and Owner Bart Krotik has been approved to teach
the following new Specialties
- Limited Visibility Diver
- DAN Hazardous Marine Life
- Marine Life Injuries
- Cold Water Diver
- Coral Reef Conservation
- DAN Automated External Defibrillator (AED) medic
course.

LATE-BREAKING NEWS. . . . . . . We also recently received
approval to offer the well-respected ERDA and ERD1 programs,
which are available for public-safety dive teams and other advanced
divers who would like in-depth training for search & recovery
diving in black water, entanglement situations and more. These
in-depth courses are offered on a flexible schedule.. Jim Bartlett is
our instructor for all ERDI, TDI, and SDI programs.
