fins, tanks, weights, regulators, BCDs, etc.
Getting Certified:
Is it difficult to become a certified diver?
Answer: Absolutely not! In fact, our Open Water students
often say they were surprised at how easy it was, and how much
fun they had while learning how to scuba dive. We've certified
all kinds of people from 10 years to 70 years old -- so far, every
student we've taught has been able to successfully complete the
course. In most cases, it only takes two weekends to complete
all course work. We encourage self-paced learning, so there's
no time pressure. We also work hard to ensure everyone feels
comfortable and confident in their new skills. For more information,
see our Courses page, or
call us to find out when our next class starts.
What if I'm not sure if I'll like it? Can I just "try" it
first?
Answer: You bet you can! We offer a Discover
Scuba experience class, which is just a few hours long, and
gets you diving in our pool within minutes of your arrival. The
class is only $10, so you can try scuba diving and experience it
without committing to the full certification course. And
if you decide to go ahead with certification, you will receive
credit for any skills you mastered during your Discover Scuba class!
