Equipment Specialist

Want to understand more fully exactly how your Scuba equipment operates and learn valuable care techniques from a dive professional? Then check into our Equipment Specialist program.

During our Equipment Specialist program, you'll familiarize yourself with the operation and maintenance of your own personal equipment.  You may also be given the opportunity by your instructor to review new or unfamiliar dive equipment.

NOTE:  Dive equipment repair and maintaince should only be carried out by dive professionals that have received the appropriate training.  This program is not designed to be an extensive equipment service & repair program, however, it does provide you with the following:

• Theory, principles and operation of dive equipment.
• Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures
• Common gear problems and recommended professional maintenance
   (Class may include a demonstration of repair procedures.)
• Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations
• Introduction to new equipment

Junior Scuba Diver or equivalent) rating and be 12 years or older.

Course Fees: $100
