Scuba Review
Are you a certified diver, but it's
been some time since you've been diving? The Scuba Review class
is designed to refresh your skills and get you back up to date.
In less than a day, or in one evening in most cases, we'll have
you on your way.
The class is about 4 hours long, with 2 hours in the classroom and 2 hours
in the pool. You'll need to come in and pick up a Scuba Tune-up booklet
and review it before your class. During the classroom portion of the course
we will go over the book, review dive tables, and cover any other questions
you may have. Then it's off to the pool where you will practice most
of the skills you learned during your Open Water Certification. After
completing the scuba review you will receive a decal for your Certification
card. This decal shows dive centers, resorts, and dive instructors that you
have updated your skills.
Course fee:
$75
Experienced Diver Program:
If you're a diver with experience
documented by 20 or more logged dives but have lost your certification
card, or never received an official certification, we can bring
you into the system. This program gives you a chance to review
your skills, and get you "officially" recognized as a certified
diver.
Years ago, safety concerns and verification of official
diver certification (to ensure proper training and skills) varied
widely. However, today it's critical that all divers have verification
of their certification in order to get air fills, buy scuba gear,
or sign on to dive with dive operators. Call Abyss-Scuba to learn
how you can get credit for your experience and obtain a C-card,
the most highly recognized in the world.
